Finland is lagging behind in plastic packaging recycling targets, so both companies and households need to sort more of their packaging waste. One challenge has been that Finland has lacked sufficient capacity to process all plastic waste. But this is about to change, as both Finnish Packaging Producers Ltd and Sumi Oy are investing in increasing sorting capacity.
