Rinki’s training event to provide producers with information on reporting and the latest news about producer responsibility

Rinki’s highly acclaimed training event will return to customers’ screens as a live stream and will cover questions that the audience would like to know more about. The participants of the autumn 2022 event have expressed their wish to deepen their knowledge in issues such as packaging reporting, and this summer’s training session will meet this need. The training, which will be held on 16 June, will focus on the reporting of packaging information in an understandable way and from the companies’ perspective.

An intensive training package to improve skills

The training event held in autumn 2022 has already attracted more than 1,200 views. As many as 93% of the respondents felt that the event was worth their time. The training session covered questions such as the reporting of packaging data, which the participants said is very useful for them. The session was considered to be comprehensive, yet suitably intensive.

“A clear update on producer responsibility obligations and what changes are on the horizon. Complex and challenging issues were explained to the general public in a practical manner,” summarised one of the participants.

A great variety of views

Rinki’s experts will explain how packaging data will be reported for the years 2023 and 2024 and what changes there will be, while also offering tips on how to learn the new practices. They will also answer any questions that the participants may have. There will also be representatives of Finnish Packaging Producers Ltd and Finnish Plastics Recycling Ltd. The training session will be an opportunity to learn about the new procedures and ask the Rinki and producer organisation experts about topics that concern the participants.

The free training session for member companies will be streamed live on YouTube from 9:00 to 10:30 on 16 June 2023. The training event will be held in Finnish, but the recording that will be added to the extranet later will have English subtitles.
